That said... the lower price that people get from me does not include the assurances that accompany an insured professional. These people take a risk everytime they let me into their home, because if I trip down the stairs and break my back, it is they homeowners insurance that is on the line. If I stupidly step onto a granite countertop overhange and snap it, I have not liability insurance to sue.
You might pay an additional $1 to $5 per square foot for optional repairs and updates. Consider having your molding, trim and baseboards checked while you have a professional in your home. This might be a good time to upgrade or repair any cracks, warps or other issues. Pros can usually touch up or replace these items for an affordable rate, and they may even package such fixups with your project.
"Westside Building and Restoration Inc. Can be trusted to provide an accurate and reasonable quote and deliver an excellent end result. We had our 30 year old deck restored and they really did a great job. Half way through the job I made a change to our request and they didn t miss a beat. From the friendly voice that answers the phone and stays in touch throughout the job, the experienced owner who estimates and manages the job and the carpenters and painters who do quality work you can trust Westside to do an excellent job. "William and the entire Edge team were such a pleasure to work with. It was a joy to find craftsman who take their work seriously, listen to the homeowner, give fair prices, and leave your home better than they found it. I recommend William and the edge team without hesitation. They repaired all of the damaged wood around my homeâ s exterior and sanded and painted potion clean upAfter themselves immaculately. I cannot recommend Edge strongly enough and without hesitation, I would hire them again."
Appliance delivery guys put a 1 inch gouge in my recently painted 15 foot foyer wall and really hacked up the base rail. Does the entire wall have to be repainted or can the gouge be repaired and blended. Wall was painted 10 months ago? Any thoughts on pricing to repair gouges in base rail with epoxy and repaint? It’s another 8 ft long and is 8” x 1” pine, painted white. Thx.
